On Friday mornings a group of women from the village meet at our Community Church and share time with each other.
Last Friday they asked me if I could show them how to make vintage lace jars and this is an easy and pretty project to do.
The jars can be used as candle holders or for bath salts or just to store bits and pieces in.The easiest way is to use mod podge glue, brush a good amount of glue on the jar and let the glue get tacky before gluing the lace on the jar.
The jar can be finished with ribbons and beads around the rim.
Glass bottles also look nice decorated with lace or pretty fabrics.
Your Blog looks sooo cool Marijke! Love the colours
